Terms of Service

These Terms explain the rules for using Verdatir's website and SaaS platform. By using the service you agree to these Terms.

Effective: October 24, 2025 · Last updated: October 24, 2025

1. The service

Verdatir provides a multi-tenant sustainability and lifecycle assessment platform. Features and pricing are described on our product pages.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and have authority to bind your organization (if applicable).

3. Accounts and access

You are responsible for your account and all activity under it. Do not share credentials. We may recommend or require multi-factor authentication. Notify us promptly at support@verdatir.com of any unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and taxes
  • Plans auto-renew unless canceled before renewal.
  • Monthly plans: 14-day refund window after the first charge.
  • Annual plans: pro-rated refund if canceled within 30 days; otherwise non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Payment processing by third parties (e.g., Stripe). You authorize charges to your payment method.
  • Taxes and duties are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.
  • We may change fees with reasonable prior notice effective on the next renewal.
5. User content and license

You retain ownership of your content. You grant Verdatir AB a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate and improve the service.

AI features are opt-in. If you opt in, you grant a limited license to use your content to improve models; otherwise, your content is excluded from any such training and from any “sale” or “share.”

6. Acceptable use
  • No infringement, malware, or unlawful content.
  • No scraping, reverse engineering, or circumvention of technical limits.
  • No attempts to access other organizations’ data or overload the service.
7. Third-party services

Integrations (e.g., payments, hosting, AI vendors) are provided by third parties under their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Beta and experimental features

Beta features may be incomplete, rate-limited, or withdrawn. They are provided “as is.”

9. Support and service levels

We provide reasonable support via email. No service-level commitments apply unless expressly stated in an Order or SLA.

10. Suspension and termination

Either party may terminate per plan terms. We may suspend or terminate for breach, legal, or security reasons. Upon termination, we retain limited records for legal/billing and delete remaining account data per our Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual property and feedback

We and our licensors own the service and related IP. These Terms do not grant rights except as explicitly stated. You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use feedback to improve the service.

Open-source components are governed by their licenses, which prevail over conflicting Terms for those components.

12. Indemnification

You will indemnify Verdatir AB for third-party claims arising from your content or misuse. We will indemnify you for third-party claims that the service, as provided, infringes IP, excluding claims caused by your content, use contrary to documentation, or combinations we did not supply.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness, and non-infringement.

Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

14. Export and sanctions

You must comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws and may not use the service in restricted jurisdictions or for prohibited end uses.

15. DMCA

Send notices to: DMCA Agent, Verdatir AB, [Postal Address – Assumption], dmca@verdatir.com. Include all required information under 17 U.S.C. §512(c).

16. Miscellaneous
  • Force majeure: We are not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Assignment: You may not assign without our consent; we may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a reorganization.
  • Severability: If a term is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • Order of precedence: DPA and any Order/SOW control over conflicting Terms with respect to their subject matter.
  • Survival: Clauses relating to fees, IP, confidentiality, indemnities, limitations, and governing law survive termination.
17. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Sweden. No arbitration or class-action waiver applies unless agreed in writing.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice before they take effect.
